The private foundation Heihuyzen includes support for charitable causes among its objectives. In addition to Make-a-Wish, where Christophe Lenaerts serves as an ambassador, and Les Avions de S\u00e9bastien, we look for causes close to our hearts. Happycurien<\/a> is the latest addition. <\/p>\n

Happycurien is both a socio-cultural and culinary project, fully inclusive, developed by a cheerful group of bon vivants who wanted to create a space in Brussels dedicated to the inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities.<\/p>\n

Happycurien enables them to fully integrate into active society through employment, leisure activities, and inclusive housing. All too often, these individuals do not meet the expectations of the Belgian labor market. This is despite the fact that many of them possess a degree of autonomy, a desire for activities, a yearning for meaningful status, and such potential that they cannot fully develop in a specialized day center. <\/p>\n

Happycurien is THE INCLUSIVE meeting place par excellence! Children, adults, disabled or not, everyone is welcome and received with joy, warmth, and kindness. All activities offered are FULLY inclusive. <\/p>\n

The Happycurien project combines various components to enliven life in Brussels.<\/p>\n

On Monday, March 20, there was a gala dinner benefiting the non-profit organization. Heihuyzen provided C-Gin \u2013 inspired by the Sea<\/a> to serve as a shot with one of the courses. 150 people had the pleasure of enjoying our delicious gin. Two companies owned by Christophe Lenaerts also participated in the gala dinner. Telemak<\/g>, an audiovisual company based in Zaventem, provided free audiovisual recording for an after-movie. And Knokke Boat<\/g>, a boat company in Cadzand and Zeebrugge, donated 20 vouchers for free sea excursions.
